conservation efforts, and Jordanian regulations, the company and its service providers strictly
prohibit the promotion, sale, or transportation of souvenirs that threaten biodiversity, cultural
heritage, or archaeological integrity.

Prohibited Souvenirs

Dream Destinations and its direct service providers will not sell, promote, or encourage the
purchase of the following items:
  • Flora and Fauna: Any souvenirs containing parts of protected animals or plants, such as coral, endangered species, or those listed under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) and the IUCN Red List.
  • Cultural Artifacts: Antiquities of any sort, including historical relics, archaeological items, or any artifacts illegally exported or of cultural significance.
  • As per the Travelife Forbidden Souvenirs List for Jordan, tourists are advised against purchasing:
    • Coral
    • Antiquities
    • Protected plants

Promotion of Ethical Souvenirs

Dream Destinations encourages the purchase of sustainable, locally produced items that reflect
Jordanian heritage and support local communities. Recommended souvenirs include:
  • Locally grown products like Medjool dates and olive oil
  • Dead Sea products
  • Traditional handicrafts such as embroidery, scarves, and ceramics made by local artisans
  • Natural goods like soaps, scrubs, and spices
