Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, where you’ll be greeted by our representative. After completing airport formalities, transfer to your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Amman City Tour – Pella – Return to Amman
After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby to begin a tour of Amman.
Start at the Amman Citadel, home to ancient ruins such as the Temple of Hercules, the 8th-century Umayyad Palace, a Byzantine Church, and the National Archaeological Museum with its fascinating artifacts.
Next, visit the Roman Theatre, a massive 2nd-century amphitheater carved into a hillside, with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. Restored in 1957, it remains one of Amman’s most iconic landmarks.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Pella—an archaeological treasure in the Jordan Valley. Pella, one of the ancient Decapolis cities, features ruins of Roman baths, a fountain house, a theatre, and remnants of an Islamic quarter including a mosque and courtyard. The site is also associated with biblical locations such as Mahanaim and Penuel, offering deep scriptural significance tied to the story of Jacob.
Return to Amman for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 3: Anjara – Jerash – Return to Amman
After breakfast, travel to the village of Anjara in the Gilead hills. According to Christian tradition, Jesus, Mary, and the disciples once sought refuge in a cave here. Visit the Church of Our Lady of the Mountain, a revered pilgrimage site recognized by the Vatican for the Millennium celebrations in 2000.
Proceed to Jerash, stopping en route for lunch at The Lebanese House Restaurant.
Explore Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Highlights include the Temple of Artemis, the Nymphaeum, colonnaded streets, and ancient theatres. Jerash’s remarkable preservation has earned it the title "Pompeii of the East."
Return to your Amman hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Bethany Beyond the Jordan – Mount Nebo – Madaba – Return to Amman
Following breakfast, embark on a spiritual journey to Bethany Beyond the Jordan (Al-Maghtas), believed to be the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Discover ancient baptismal pools, ruins of churches, and the cave of John the Baptist on Elijah’s Hill—where, according to tradition, Elijah ascended to heaven.
Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land before his death. From this vantage point, enjoy sweeping views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Jerusalem on clear days.
After lunch, head to Madaba, known as the "City of Mosaics." Visit St. George's Church to see the 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, an extraordinary artistic and historical treasure.
Return to your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Khirbet Al-Mukhayyat – Mukawir – Umm al-Rasas – Petra
Enjoy breakfast, then check out from your Amman hotel and depart for Khirbet Al-Mukhayyat, the biblical town of Nebo. Explore three 6th-century Byzantine churches, including the Church of SS Lot and Procopius with its beautifully preserved mosaics.
Continue to Mukawir (Machaerus), the hilltop fortress where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded. This dramatic site offers panoramic views of the Dead Sea.
After lunch, proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Umm al-Rasas, known for its Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic remains. Visit the Church of St. Stephen with its impressive mosaic floor depicting towns of the Holy Land and surrounding regions.
Arrive in Petra, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Petra Tour – Wadi Rum
Start your day with breakfast before exploring Petra, the legendary "Rose Red City." Enter through the Siq—a narrow, winding gorge—and emerge before the stunning Treasury (Al-Khazneh), Petra’s most iconic monument. Discover royal tombs, temples, the Roman Theater, and more.
Lunch will be served at the Basin Restaurant inside Petra. Afterward, those who wish may hike to the Monastery (Ad-Deir), a massive structure carved into the rock, offering spectacular views.
Continue to Wadi Rum for an overnight stay at a desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.
Day 7: Wadi Rum Jeep Tour – Dead Sea
After breakfast at the camp, embark on a 2-hour jeep safari through the stunning Wadi Rum desert. Visit Lawrence’s Spring, the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and the ancient rock inscriptions at Anfashieh.
Drive toward the Dead Sea, stopping for lunch at the Panorama Restaurant, offering breathtaking views of the lowest point on Earth.
Arrive at your Dead Sea resort for a relaxing afternoon. Enjoy floating in the salty waters and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 8: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Amman Airport for your departure flight, concluding your meaningful pilgrimage through Jordan.
