Day 1: Arrival – Amman Airport / Amman
Upon arrival at Amman Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist with immigration and customs formalities. Afterward, transfer to your hotel in Amman. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Amman – Bethany Beyond the Jordan – Mount Nebo – Madaba – Amman
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel.
Travel to Bethany Beyond the Jordan (Al-Maghtas), a revered site on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, believed to be where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Explore the ruins of ancient churches, baptismal pools, and the historical landscape that resonates with spiritual significance.
Continue to Elijah’s Hill, where tradition holds that Elijah ascended to heaven. See the cave where John the Baptist is believed to have lived, later enshrined by a 5th-century church.
Next, visit Mount Nebo, the place where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. On a clear day, enjoy sweeping views of the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley, and Jerusalem.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to Madaba, the famed "City of Mosaics." Visit St. George’s Church, home to the 6th-century Mosaic Map of the Holy Land, made of over a million pieces.
Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amman – Khirbet Al-Mukhayyat – Mukawir – Umm al-Rasas – Petra
After breakfast and check-out, head to Khirbet Al-Mukhayyat, believed to be the biblical town of Nebo. Explore its well-preserved Byzantine churches, including the Church of SS Lot and Procopius with its magnificent 6th-century mosaic.
Continue to Mukawir (Machaerus), the hilltop fortress where John the Baptist was imprisoned and executed. Originally built by the Hasmonaeans and later rebuilt by Herod the Great, this site overlooks the Dead Sea.
Lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to Umm al-Rasas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring remarkable mosaics and ruins from Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic periods. The Church of St. Stephen is especially notable for its intricate floor mosaic.
End the day by traveling to Petra. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay at a hotel in Petra.
Day 4: Petra Exploration – Return to Amman
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then begin your tour of Petra, the ancient Nabatean capital carved into rose-red rock. Walk through the SIQ, a narrow canyon, leading to the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Explore temples, royal tombs, a Roman theatre, and more.
Lunch will be served at the Basin Restaurant.
Optional: Hike to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) for a rewarding view and another stunning rock-carved monument.
Later, travel back via the Desert Highway to Amman. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5: Amman – Departure to the Holy Land via Allenby Bridge / Jerusalem City Tour
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the Allenby Bridge and cross into the Holy Land. Meet your driver and begin a tour of Jerusalem.
Start with a panoramic view from Mount Scopus, followed by Mount of Olives with views of the Old City. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before his arrest.
In the afternoon, enter the Old City to visit the Western Wall and walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to be the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
Conclude the day with a visit to Mount Zion, including the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.
Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 6: Jerusalem – New City – Ein Karem – Bethlehem – Jerusalem
After breakfast, visit the Shrine of the Book and the Model of Jerusalem at the Israel Museum. Then continue to Ein Karem, the traditional home of Elizabeth and site of the Church of the Visitation.
In the afternoon, head to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, Grotto of the Nativity, and the Chapel of Saint Jerome.
Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Jerusalem – Jericho – Dead Sea – Jerusalem
Enjoy breakfast, then travel to Jericho, one of the world’s oldest cities. Visit the Sycamore Tree of Zacchaeus and Elisha’s Spring.
Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Float in its mineral-rich waters and enjoy the therapeutic mud before returning to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Jerusalem – Tel Aviv – Jerusalem
After breakfast, travel to Tel Aviv. Explore the White City, a UNESCO-listed area featuring Bauhaus architecture along Rothschild Boulevard.
Stroll through Shuk HaCarmel, Tel Aviv’s bustling marketplace, and enjoy the vibrant mix of local produce, spices, cheeses, and sweets.
Discover Tel Aviv’s street art scene in the southern neighborhoods before heading back to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Jerusalem – Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight home, concluding your spiritual journey through Jordan and the Holy Land.
