This hike takes you through one of the most peaceful and picturesque areas of the Jordanian highlands—Al Ayoun, a valley rich with olive groves, orchards, and limestone cliffs just north of Ajloun.

Starting from a scenic viewpoint above Rasun village, you’ll walk through forested trails, passing ancient Bronze Age dolmens and the remains of a Roman wine press.

From Rasun, a short walk leads to the village of Orjan, where you’ll enjoy a traditional homemade lunch with a local family.

After lunch, you’ll continue along a quiet farm track that follows a stream down the valley. The hike wraps up with a well-earned rest and a cup of tea brewed over an open fire before returning to Amman.
