Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, where you will be greeted and assisted with immigration procedures before transferring to your hotel. One of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, Amman has been thriving since the Bronze Age. While rapidly modernizing, it retains much of its historical charm.
Depending on your flight's arrival time, you may have free time to explore the city at your leisure.
Overnight in Amman
After breakfast, meet your guide and biking crew at 8:00 AM in the hotel lobby. Depart north for Jerash, one of the most important and well-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. After touring Jerash, continue to Anjara, where your cycling adventure begins.
The route starts at the edge of Anjara, passing through the abandoned village of Sarabees before descending into Wadi Mahmoud. Ride through a wooded valley, then head west for a long descent into Wadi Zarqa and the Zarqa River. Enjoy breathtaking views along the way. Biblically, this river is known as the Jabbok River—where Jacob wrestled with God.
After crossing the river, return to Amman. In the evening, join the group for a welcome dinner and an overview of the upcoming tour.

Overnight in Amman
Begin the day with a transfer south to Karak to visit the impressive Crusader-era Karak Castle. Once the capital of the Kingdom of Moab, Karak’s massive fortress offers panoramic views and insights into medieval military architecture.
Following your visit, start cycling just outside the city. This route passes through rural countryside and continues downhill along the scenic King's Highway, past Tanour Dam. Upon reaching Wadi Hasa, transfer to Dana Nature Reserve for the night. Time permitting, your guide may lead a sunset walk around Dana village.

Overnight in Dana Nature Reserve
After a short morning transfer, visit Shobak Castle—built by Baldwin I in 1115 and the first of several Crusader castles in Jordan. The fortress withstood several sieges before surrendering to Salahdin in 1189.
Begin today’s cycling leg from Shobak, heading off-road on a mix of dirt tracks and paved roads toward Little Petra. This leg of the Jordan Bike Trail is especially scenic, tracing ridges with expansive views across the Jordan Valley. Enjoy lunch hosted by a local family along the way.
End the day with a visit to Little Petra, followed by a short ride to your desert camp, where Bedouin hospitality awaits.

Overnight in Little Petra
After breakfast, head to the world-famous city of Petra. Enter through the narrow Siq gorge, flanked by cliffs soaring up to 80 meters, until you reach the magnificent Treasury, carved directly into sandstone.
Spend the day exploring Petra’s remarkable ruins, including tombs, a Roman-style theater, temples, sacrificial altars, and colonnaded streets. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant inside the site.
Overnight in Petra
After breakfast, transfer past Rajif, a highland village near Petra. Begin today’s ride with a long off-road descent into the spectacular Wadi Rum desert. Stop en route for lunch with a local Bedouin family.
Upon arrival in Wadi Rum, embark on a two-hour sunset jeep tour. Spend the evening under the stars and enjoy traditional Bedouin hospitality.
