Embark on a thrilling self-guided hike through the breathtaking sandstone canyon of Wadi Mujib, leading you upstream to one of the gorge’s tallest waterfalls. You’ll wade through the clear, shallow river, occasionally crossing waist-deep pools along the way.
Throughout the hike, you’ll encounter two or three sections equipped with ropes or metal ladders to assist you in climbing over the rocks.
After about an hour, you’ll reach the impressive 18-meter-high waterfall—a perfect spot to rest, swim, and enjoy the natural beauty. Once you’ve had your break, you’ll retrace your steps back to the visitor center, where your transfer to Amman or Madaba will be waiting.
Please note: This is a self-guided hike. If you're unsure about doing it on your own, please let us know in advance.
